Standard Butt Fusion Workflow
1. Clamp and align the pipe
Place both pipe ends into the clamps and adjust the alignment before welding.
2. Face both pipe ends
Use the facer to machine both pipe ends until the surfaces are clean and even.
3. Check alignment and clean the surface
Check the pipe alignment and clean the welding surfaces before heating.
4. Heat and soak
Place the heating plate between the pipe ends and follow the required welding parameters for heating and soaking.
5. Join and cool under pressure
Remove the heating plate, join both pipe ends quickly, and keep the joint under pressure during cooling.
